Our story

The will to help was
never missing.

Every day, children leave school over a few thousand rupees in fees — while people who would gladly pay them search for a way to do it. parhao exists to close that distance.

In classrooms across Pakistan, the same quiet story repeats every term. A child is doing fine — learning, showing up, dreaming — and then the fees run out. Not tuition for some elite academy; a few thousand rupees at a neighbourhood school. The family stretches for a month or two, and then a seat goes empty. Not for lack of talent. For the price of a school fee.

Here is the part that should make this an easy problem: the money exists. In the same cities — and far beyond them, in Karachi families now in Toronto, Lahori households in Dubai and Manchester — there are people who would gladly pay that fee. People who remember what an education did for them, or for someone they love, and want to do the same for a child back home.

A child leaves school over a few thousand rupees — while someone, somewhere, would gladly have paid it. That gap is the whole problem.

So why doesn't the money move? Because wanting to help has never been enough. Ask anyone who has tried: there was no trustworthy way to find a real student — only vague appeals and faceless funds. And once money left their hands, there was no proof it reached a classroom. No receipt, no school, no name. Generosity kept colliding with doubt, and doubt usually won.

parhao was built to remove that doubt. Every student on the platform is verified with their school on a video call. Every rupee goes straight from the sponsor to the school's bank account — never through us. And every sponsor is matched to a student from their own hometown, so helping feels less like charity to a stranger and more like what it really is: a neighbour keeping a neighbour's child in school.

The problem

Good intentions kept hitting the same three walls.

Ask anyone who has tried to fund a child's education back home — you hear the same frustrations every single time.

01

"I want to help"

Plenty of people abroad have both the means and the genuine desire to put a child through school back home. The intention was never the problem.

02

"But I can't find a student"

There was no trustworthy way to find a specific, real child who actually needed fees — only vague appeals and faceless funds you had to take on faith.

03

"And I can't see where it went"

Once money left their hands, there was no proof it reached a classroom. No receipt, no school, no accountability — so often, it never left at all.

What parhao does about it

We built the bridge — verified, direct, and traceable.

Four deliberate choices that turn good intentions into a child staying in school.

Every student is verified

A 15-minute video call confirms each student is real and enrolled, with their school, before anyone is matched. No faceless appeals.

Money goes straight to the school

Fees move directly from sponsor to the school's bank account. parhao never holds or skims a single rupee — 100% gets through.

Matched to your own hometown

Sponsors give to a student in the city they have roots in — turning a faceless donation into a neighbour helping a neighbour's child.

Traceable, start to finish

You see which school, which student, and that the fees arrived. Accountability isn't a promise here — it's built into how it works.

Be part of it

Be the reason a child
stays in school.

Whether you want to sponsor a child, or you're a student, parent, or school who needs one — there's a place for you here.
